Capacity Building
GVEP International aims to build capacity at the regional, national and local level to increase access to energy services. Moreover, GVEP International is developing linkages with the wide range of institutions throughout the world that offer a wealth of knowledge and experience in developing capacity to deal with the broader issues associated with increasing access to energy. GVEP International provides a gateway for practitioners and policy makers who are interested in accessing toolkits and training material; linking up with leading experts and centers of excellence; obtaining lessons learned and best practices from the field; and staying up to date on training and skills development opportunities. The tools and services of GVEP International are designed for a range of entities involved in the energy-market transformation process in developing countries, including entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises, non-governmental organizations, communities and consumer organizations.
