Mali

A Mali delegation participated in both the ESMAP regional workshop in Dakar, Senegal in February 2003, and the GVEP Francophone Africa Facilitators meeting in Mbour, Senegal in June 2005. Preliminary activities surrounding the workshops involved the formation of a committee and desgination of GVEP facilitators, including members from the key government agencies, NGOs and the private sector. A preliminary roadmap for increasing access to energy services was developed at the facilitators workshop, but as of yet no funds have been disbursed.
