CINER Works closely with GVEP International
GVEP International has set out to update the information concerning activities carried out by its partners in South America (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay). To that end, it has asked the "Information Center on Renewable Energy" (CINER, for its acronym in Spanish) to perform this task, taking into consideration its more than 15-year experience in technical advising and dissemination of technical issues in rural electrification and establishment of organization networks.
CINER will make the following available to GVEP International: its international trajectory, the high technical qualification of its staff, assigned consultants and civil sector employees to represent the organization as required. It will also provide its expertise in strategic development, participate in regional events, and establish mass dissemination mechanisms through the creation of an online consultation system with continuous feedback, which will not only allow the identification of new actors and potential partners, but it will also assist in the dissemination of activities.
Likewise, CINER will carry out additional dissemination work through GVEP´s International webpage, setting up an interactive network, which will promote activities and important events related to GVEP international's objectives in South America as well as those of its partners in the region. GVEP International's website will provide a structured section, which will not only be useful for dissemination and information exchange purposes, but also to help with studies and initiatives, to strengthen discussion forums and to analyze various topics that complement GVEP International's objectives.
The consultancy conducted by CINER will include a mapping of actors: GVEP International’s partners, energy and equipment providers and to represent GVEP International in regional and international events.
