GVEP International (Global Village Energy Partnership) is a network of individuals and organisations committed to increasing access to appropriate and modern energy services to improve living conditions for people in rural and peri-urban areas of developing countries.
We support small and medium scale organisations and enterprises providing energy goods or services by enabling access to finance, technical and business development assistance.
By developing and delivering a combination of direct support and information services (funding opportunities, best practice guides on products, suppliers and approaches) the partnership has the potential to have a positive impact on the lives of partners worldwide.
Formed in 2002, and currently with over 2,000 registered partners from over 128 countries, GVEP International operates through regional hubs
worldwide, supported by a small UK head office.
GVEP International’s activities are funded by the international donor community including the UK, Dutch, Swedish and Russian Governments, the European Union and USAID.
